Bill Klausman
After working his way through college as an accountant for a highway construction company, Bill spent a few years in leasing and advertising, until buying his first small business.
Throughout his career, he has bought or started up several small businesses including the following: appliance dealership (sales, parts, service), cabinet design and installation, Hallmark shop, office supplies, restaurant & cooking school, tavern, commercial real estate, property management, consultant in international corporate espionage.
Bill also was on the Board of Directors for several non-profit organizations including YMCA, Eastco Diversified Services, Morrison Center and the Portland Habilitation Center.
Bill is a former member of the New Christy Minstrels and founded the River City Ramblers in 1960, a folk-rock group still going strong today.
Bill is also the author of the book 'The Amacon Cover' and three screenplays: 'The Amacon Cover', 'Switch', and 'Stevie - 'Making It With Autism'.
